WPSDA World Championships!!!
Introducing the first youtube world competition that puts all competitors on a completely fair, even and easily attainable playing field. Since this is a World Championship the task chosen is one that really separates the world’s best pilots from the rest of the pack. The Circle Wing Tip Drag requires extreme skill. It is not timed so you can’t mess with the speed of your video to fake results. The rules are pretty darn easy, lay down the longest wing tip drag and post your video. If the video is clear and obviously the best on youtube then you are the new Champion. No flying halfway around the world, no politics involved, no crazy lists of rules to learn, no bias or sponsorship advertising to get in the way, no entry fees at all. Just post & win. At the WPSDA we think the World Champion should be the best in the world. Everyone should have a chance to win from anywhere with any equipment. While we highly recommend only WPSDA certified equipment for safety reasons, the champ is the champ no matter what you fly. If you can do it better then you are truely the WPSDA World Champion.

Figure 8 Foot Drag: Drag your foot around in a reasonably tight figure 8 pattern as many times as possible without your foot leaving the ground for more than a bump or something. This is a great task as the equipment used isn’t as important as it is in the wing tip drag.
